Find us at #29 on the SE Area ARTWalk March 3 & 4, 2018. You can find the map to view as you walk or print before you head out. 10 -5 each day Rin will be in the studio and Joe will be down in our dye/batik area. Also find The Sprockettes on site Sun 1-4 for recruiting Q&A

Art in the Rose Garden 2016

Artists and art lovers, please join us on Sunday, August 21, 2016, when Friends of Peninsula Park Rose Garden present the second annual Art in the Rose Garden event.

The event will showcase the talent of Pacific Northwest artists in a variety of media, including oils, watercolors, ceramics, photography and stained glass.

We will have our booth at the August event with original batik created by wife/husband design team…

We will be part of the SE Area ARTWalk March 5th & 6th, 2016. Visitors from far and wide will arrive for the 13th Annual event to tour and meet 80 artists within the boundaries of our map area. SE 9th Ave, SE 41st,  SE Powell and SE Hawthorne Blvd.  The event is Sat. and Sun. 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Rin Carroll Jackson – Fiber

Batik: the ancient art of using beeswax to resist dye applications on fabrics.
Use locally raised beeswax, draw the wax on and dye in layers. Sustainable use of rain water to boil wax from fabric.

August 2nd & 3rd Urban Air Market, a curated collection of 75 vendors who produce sustainable jewelry, crafts and fashions, will pop up at Zidell Yards Aug. 2 and 3.

May 10th- June 2014: We will have our piece displayed at the 3rd Annual Recycled Rainwater Project. Join us Opening Night Saturday, May 10th, 6-10pm at the Olympic Mills Gallery in Portland, Oregon.
